Our company was officially registered in 1994 and was trading as Ital Concrete Design cc for the past 25 years  and  was  re- registered  as  Urban Slab Design and Supply (Pty)  Ltd  in 2019.

 

We focus on every available market from residential, commercial and industrial structural building development ,  specializing in the supply of basement ,multiple floors and roof slabs in the Lattice Rib and Block Slab System .

 

The Lattice Rib and Block Slab System was designed approximately 35 years ago in Europe and were brought to South Africa in 1994 with Steeledale Reinforcing  and LTA as a joint venture, about 10 years later Steeledale phased out their concrete manufacturing to Ital Concrete  the now Urban Slab Design. 

 

The company  is  situated at 29 Chevrolet Street , Aureus , Randfontein  1759 . Urban Slab Design & Supply consist of 2 Directors and  24 employees from  Admin, Design, Client Liason, Mixing, Casting, Steel-Fixing and Delivery of our product to site.

 

Designed by Structural Engineers  ie:- Trowbridge Higson Smith & Assoc. , Kubuke Consultants, GTEGNO, Fick Hollenbach & Partners  etc.  specified  the  Steeldale  Lattice FBE Girder  – Ref.1379 & 1479 Ribs / Beams as their preferred system for  it’s  Shear Connection capabilities when pouring the final concrete layer to the desired predetermined slab thickness.
